Overview
The focal point of the project involves several short-term classroom residencies, by Hispanic and African-American artists, working in the media of theater, music, painting and drawing, film and video, and literature. The artists work with classroom teachers and their students in the classroom, demonstrating how to use creative activity in conjunction with other curricular activity. Web resources will be introduced to teachers and used to document and extend the interaction between the artists, teachers, and students.
